You found it.

This is the unofficial, unauthorized, and unprecedented website of an emergency medicine residency program in Searcy, Arkansas. I’m Jeff Steele and I’ve needed a place to keep some information so that the doctors and nurses I work with can find it easily. That’s what this is. You can find a video of how to do a procedure anywhere. My goal here is have a repository for tidbits that I find myself having to revisit frequently – either for my own memory or for that of the residents and staff. I’m referring to things like new tools – or old tools we may have forgotten that we have, safety initiatives, checklists, interesting cases, personal experience to make work flow better within our walls and anything else that seems like it might improve patient care and resident education – specifically at the institutions I work at, but if anyone else finds it useful too, so much the better.

There is a little blog involved as well. Mostly I write about things that I think are interesting or that I think the people I work with would like to (or need to) read about. I make it my goal to make a post roughly monthly, although schedule demands and having something worth saying may bring posts a little above or below that threshold.
